Message From BHS South West RDO:
'World Horse Welfare have been asking for people to petition their MEP's regarding the transportation of horses across Europe for Slaughter. They need more than half of Europe's MEP's to sign the Written Declaration before 21 January 2010.
I have checked the World Horse Welfare website and all of the UK's South West MEP's have signed the Written Declaration. What they now need is for any of us with family or friends overseas to contact their own MEP's to ask them to sign the Written Declaration.
If you have anyone you know overseas who would be willing to lobby their MEP to sign up to this, please could you send them these details and urge them to do so.
