Entries here: https://inside.fei.org/system/files/Liste of definite entries_ 06.09.2022.pdf - teams of four and individuals to be announced

Dressage starts on Thursday
XC on Saturday
SJ on Sunday (believe two rounds - one team, one individual)

Coverage appears to be on Clip my Horse and nowhere else so far...

And as a side note, interestingly the GB horses have been flown to Italy, other teams based in the UK have gone by road...

Any idea when the teams/individuals announcement will be? I'm guessing it will be Banzai, but he's one of my absolute favourites, so I do hope he and Yasmin make the team...

Not 100% sure, I guess fairly soon as they'll be releasing a drawn order Weds at the latest?

Was chatting about this to a pal yesterday and she reckons Yasmin will make the team as Paris prep, and Ros as individual. We shall see if she’s right!

I watched Yasmin and Laura's tests - sublime! What a strong start. Just need to catch up on Ros' test and then put reminders on to see the others plus Andrew Hoy tomorrow at work.

The XC looks a tough test. Lots to jump and that 'slide' looks rather terrifying (think it's fence 7)

While I do like Jung I do groan a bit when he scores so well in the dressage as usually (not always I grant you) it means he is going to win and I quite like it when someone else wins for a change ?

Agreed. The difference is now it’s not the usual leading by 5/6 points, competition over, Laura’s only behind by 0.5, with the top 5 pretty close. It’s an added pressure which makes way more interesting!

im not sure if its more nail biting that we are in the lead , makes me a bit nervous that it will all go wrong tomorrow, rather like when Tom and Toledo were going so brilliantly and then hit the deck at the solar jump at badminton...:(

The Brits have 17 seconds in hand. Not much and that course looks quite terrifying. So twisty and lumpy. Fingers firmly crossed for a safe day for all. It's great there are so many long routes for those less experienced combinations but gosh you need a good memory to know every option out there!

The course map/photos don’t quite portray how steep the bank at 7 is.

The line through the direct route at first water is a bit mind boggling, and the tight direct line through the horse shaped brush fences at the end is also not particularly clear.

Unbelievably and rather concerningly the course has been open to the public to walk - as in up to the fences and on track, no restrictions ?

thanks teapot, don’t ever leave the forum, you are a godsend to non tech people like me
This! I have just come on the forum to see if Teapot had posted the XC start times, and she didn't disappoint!

Now the start list is printed off and I'm off outside to get all jobs done prior to another bum in front of the telly day.

I know it’s under review for Tom but I was thinking more about Laura having a run out and I think Tom had time faults as well

If the 15 points get deducted, GB will be in bronze and only 4.8 behind the Germans in gold... the show jumping is on an undulating grass arena too.

Well done Ollie !! Anyone know why they are saying 15 penalties for Tom? I thought it was 11 for a frangible pin , are there different types of pin and different penalties? Teapot you must know?
