I got some free worm counts recently courtesy of Eqvalan, when is the best time of year to do the counts? This will be the first time I have done them (bad I know!), so I am wondering if it is beneficial to do them at this time of year, or if I should wait until the spring/early summer to start? I plan to incorporate them into worming programme going forward.
Horses are at home, rotated between 2 fields, spending roughly 6 months in each, and have been there just over a year now. Fields previously ungrazed for the last 3 years prior.
