Can anybody recommend a good place/company to get worm egg counts done with please? Not too expensive would be great! Thank you.

http://www.abbeydiagnostics.co.uk/pricelist.htm are the cheapest.

http://www.westgatelabs.co.uk/our-services/collection-kit.htm apparantly quicker with the result but more expensive.

If you don't mind waiting around 3/4 days from posting for a result then save money & go with Abbey Diagnostics.

I use these, got the 4 test pack. I did our first worm count for our two and sent their samples off on a tues 1st class, couldn't belive it when I checked my email on weds lunchtime to find their results there. Impressive!

Just bought the Westgate pre-paid pack from local tack shop - just waiting for ponies to poo to collect sample from each of them but as they live out 24/7 will have to hang around for a while. Seems like they do dozens when I'm not there but it's like watching a kettle (for those that know the old saying) when I am there.
