Is that the normal progression for wormers? He was also vaccinated on Monday too.

Wondering if it's just that or whether I should be looking out for other signs of illness/toxicity? He's eating well, drinking, playing...although perhaps slightly calmer than he was yesterday.

Tis very normal, aslong as he stays active, and he is eating and drinking and he dries up in a few days he will be fine, both worming and vaxes can cause loose faeces.

Thanks Cayla.

As he was normal yesterday, I wondered if it was too late for it to show and still be a side effect from the vaccs/wormer.

I am now officially an over anxious mummy! Is it wrong that I quite enjoyed the fact he's marginally quieter today?

I think it's more wrong that I was PLEASED your pup is also nutty enough for you to appreciate the reprieve

- I was beginning to think my 8wk old working cocker (who redefines "lunatic"!) was in a league of his own

It is nice to know others are also experiencing the same

LOL!

Let's just say there has been less incidence of shouting "NO BITE!" today. He has done a wall of death around the yard this afternoon and I did rescue a laptop cable from him (before balling out the children for leaving it in his reach). I haven't had to rescue the carpet join from his mouth today, the corner of the cupboard or my toes.

He's actually not that bad, in general. The biting is the biggest issue, but we are working on that and he is improving...and not just because he's feeling a little quiet.

I am so paranoid that he'll swallow something he shouldn't, that as soon as he went a little quieter I was thinking "eeeeeeeep".

....about a dozen of what looks like bird seed.

I have absolutely NO idea where that has come from as he's only been in our brick paved yard and I cannot find any bird seed anywhere. It's a complete mystery.

It's hard, definitely looks like seed, the poop was very loose. Hopefully he won't now come down with bloat from fermentation (although I'm hoping there's no more seed left), impaction or salmonella.

I tell you what, you have to have eyes everywhere. I am genuinely at a loss as to where they have come from.

He has since done another poop which is slightly more formed, so fingers cross we're over the worse. He's back to his usual rogue self too. I must say, I am mighty impressed that my 10 week old pup cried at the door to go out and do that, when he must've felt very desperate, given the noise his bum made as it flew out!
