It's almost impossible to understand your posts.

When did the LA test and what did they test to try to find?

What metal have you found?
What level is normal?
What level is toxic?

What 'colour coded' test are you doing now?

What malpractice do you intend to sue your vets for? Metal toxicity from grazing is really, really rare, they can't have been expected to know about it, surely?

I'm sorry you lost your youngsters but I think you need to move on, figuratively and literally, and look after the four that are left.

That test is for showing general presence of heavy metals and does not give ppm readings.
It’s a general home kit test similar to ones from Osumex, but you’d be better off taking actual soil samples and sending them to a lab for accurate heavy metal readings.
Your vets can then implement chelation therapy if it is metal toxicity for the youngsters based on specific results, as they are still ill.
Better still, can the vets do a blood draw and test for metals in the horses?

Based on soil results for metals, alert the authorities to investigate if it has anything to do with the neighbouring sewerage plant, to prevent others grazing on there and potentially experiencing what you have.

I hope you get the answers you need and your youngsters recover fully.

If your vets are not willing to do more diagnostics like a simple blood draw to check for metals, i’d change vets.

Although, bear in mind that the metals aren‘t necessarily high circulating in blood for a mammal to still be suffering effects of metal toxicity. The liver would be storing it and other glands, thus affecting function and causing symptoms.

Therefore having an accurate soil sample test for metals would help give an indication of root cause, and bloods taken may help confirm the soil sample results.

As already mentioned by posters, you dont seem to have a good rapport with your vets, so seriously consider switching vets, as it sounds like you need their help, as a wormer reaction wouldn’t normally be going on this long, and your youngsters are still ill, from what you’ve said recently.
