Vets have said same thing now so we just got to find somewhere else now
Hi weve tested land because local authority said it was clear now its metal reading is 1000 ppb so were doing more exact one colour coded to metal babies cant go out due to risk now looking to move but have 4 babies not easy worse if we still had 7 but we are not giving up on our case for losing 3 young horses due to other sources not what vets said so we keep going for sake of 4 living babies ?
It's almost impossible to understand your posts.
When did the LA test and what did they test to try to find?
What metal have you found?
What level is normal?
What level is toxic?
What 'colour coded' test are you doing now?
What malpractice do you intend to sue your vets for? Metal toxicity from grazing is really, really rare, they can't have been expected to know about it, surely?
I'm sorry you lost your youngsters but I think you need to move on, figuratively and literally, and look after the four that are left.
.
That test is for showing general presence of heavy metals and does not give ppm readings.
It’s a general home kit test similar to ones from Osumex, but you’d be better off taking actual soil samples and sending them to a lab for accurate heavy metal readings.
Your vets can then implement chelation therapy if it is metal toxicity for the youngsters based on specific results, as they are still ill.
Better still, can the vets do a blood draw and test for metals in the horses?
Based on soil results for metals, alert the authorities to investigate if it has anything to do with the neighbouring sewerage plant, to prevent others grazing on there and potentially experiencing what you have.
I hope you get the answers you need and your youngsters recover fully.
it wasnt worms that killed horses we now have proof and will be continueing to go forward however long it takes
