Has anyone had trouble worming with Drontal?

I wormed both Slip (collie) and Ruby (wocker) last week but Ruby twice vomited the tablet back up within 2 minutes of swallowing. Doseage is correct and theres no problem with Slip but Im wondering if there is another product I can try Ruby with? She is on Verm X biscuits now but I would like to know that she is free of parasites to start with!

Any ideas?

Mine chucks up after Drontal, with or without being fed. He's now on Advocate, which does fleas as well. I thought I needed a tapeworm as well, as Advocate wont cover it, but my vets have told me if he hasnt got fleas, then this isnt necessary. I re-did him with the Advocate about 1 month after the failed Drontal attempt, if that helps.

I have a bitch who vomits prolifically after Drontal, not once but several times over the space of 12 hours. On my vets advice I did try twice with it but same result so since then have used Milbemax without any side effects. It has suited all my lot well. Also Panacur I have never had side effects with.
