wormer in the form of treats/tablets

I use them with my pony, but I crush them into a feed rather than feeding whole and i've no problems getting her to eat them this way.. She won't eat paste even if mixed into a feed so I definitely prefer them. They are just as effective as far as i'm aware, all my worm counts have been clear so i've certainly not had any problems

None of my three would touch them! I ended up having to crush them into soaked stud cubes, which they ate in the end, but were not impressed.

I'm sticking to paste and gel from now on-much quicker and easier!!

I am thinking of giving them a try as being crushed into the feed, I can't imagine they taste that nice and I know it's pathetic but I feel guillty worming the one as he hates it and does all he can to avoid it! I've been meaning to practice with apple sauce in a syringe but I've never got round to it!

Thanks Guys

Mine ate one, once, and thereafter treated them as if they were poison, so now I just stick one in a quartered apple or the thick end of a big carrot and he'll happily eat as many as it takes that way. I really like worming them with these tablets, it takes any stress out of it (once you have figured out how to disguise them) and you can be sure all the dose goes into the horse.
