Wormer Resistance- New Research!

You are invited to participate in a PhD research project from Harper Adams University. This work is supported by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, an executive agency of Defra [Project VM0557].

This research aims to explore UK equine keepers’ attitudes, beliefs and behaviours surrounding worm control and wormer resistance. Wormer resistance poses risk to equine health and welfare, this research will help us to understand the problem more effectively.

Taking part involves a short questionnaire (10-15 minutes). Follow the link(s) below to find out more:

The questionnaire is open until 31st August 2024- if you have a spare 10-15mins to complete it we would be really grateful! The more we can understand keepers' attitudes, beliefs and behaviours surrounding worm control and resistance, the greater chance we have to create positive changes and slow the rate of resistance.

You can take part if you are a loaner, groom, yard manager/yard owner or owner.
