Wormers past sell-by / best before date...

I've found some (rather expensive) wormers I bought *ahem* a while back and then forgot all about

I don't suppose there's any chance they'll still work 2 years after their sell by / best before date??

LOL! Yep, I would; I once taught English to some blokes who worked for a drugs company and they said sell by dates on drugs were mostly a load of b*ll*cks to get people to buy new ones!
PF is much to precious to chance old wormers on though

A few months past I'd have said use them but 2 years is a bit excessive! Most of the time the sell by date is there because the active ingredient loses efficacy over time, so probably won't cause any harm.

Out of interest, have they got a use by date, or just best before?

I don't remember if it's use by / best before ... 2 years IS a bit much though either way, I agree!

Nah. After all this time they won't work anymore - loss of efficacy because they are a concoction of drugs.

As for pure powdered drugs, my vet has also told me to forget about use by dates on most of these as they don't lose their efficacy; some do but most don't and are perfectly good for years after this date.
