What do you suggest the best wormer is and why?

Your question doesn't really have an answer. There is no one particular wormer that will treat all types of worm. You use different ones at different times of the year depending on what you are wanting to treat for.

I got fed up with all this wormer business,trying to decide which ones and when. So I went with Intellegent Wormers (found details online) You pay and inital £12.50 for an egg count after that they taylor make a worming programme for you, cost does vary for the year depending on the count results. Mine was a fab zero so minimal wormers needed in future, cost was £54.00. Includes three more egg counts, double dose in Autum and normal winter dose. Give them call, really great cos it means you dont blanket worm so not pumping chemicals into our precious ponies.
