Worming and ulcers

Hi , my horse has had orev ulcers and ibd beem clear of symptoms for over a year , always worm cpunt and worm for tapewprm howber mew yard states we have to worm regardless if worm count comes back clesr , i am worried of worm count clear and he has a wormer the drugs could ipset him , had seadtion last week for teeth and even a small amount upsets his timmy , wjat does everyone else do ,

What they are insisting on is irresponsible and will ultimately be dangerous - horses will die if we have no drugs that can successfully treat worm infestations and this approach of using wormers randomly will allow that to happen.

If it’s a good yard I would not be rocking the boat .
I would get some gastroguard, worm him and treat him for a few days afterwards with it .

Protexin quick fix is great for ulcery horses around worming time. I split a tube into 4 and start 2 days before worming.
