Worming Mare in Foal

I'm a bit confussed.com - my mare is due working in Jan, she is 86 days in foal, went into feed merchant today - spoke with assistant who told me which wormer to buy safe for mares in foal (can't remember wormer name for minute as left it at yard) got it home, decided to read instructions as didn't want to risk anything and low and behold it says safe for mares in foal (over 20 weeks in foal) the assistant never asked me how far in foal she was just assured me this wormer was safe for mares in foal - so glad I didnt' just bung it down her.

Can anyone tell me which wormer is safe and suitable for a mare in early pregnancy please.
 
eqvalan is safe during all stages of pregnancy, as is equimax - sounds like she sold you telmin??
 
It might have been eqvalan you got which is suitable from 3 months. Equest, strongdid and pyratape P and panacur are all suitable for pregnant mares. Wormers-direct.co.uk have a useful table which tells you.
