My mare is 5 months pregnant. On the yard we have been given the option of being wormed or doing a worm count. Her last count was pretty low and she's been wormed since then. She's 5 months pregnant but hasn't been done since she was sent to the stud - she was done a little earlier than the rest of the yard last time due to not worming her in the first 3 months of pregnancy.
I know that there are certain wormers that are safe for pregnant mares so am not worried about giving her wormer. Given she's not been wormed since during the pregnancy should I just worm her or would we be better doing a worm count and then do her based on that?
