I have my two horses wormed on Verm-X, strongly recommended by several people including a vet nurse.

It is a all-in-1, but surely using it every time can make it ineffective?

If i was to chnage to a worming plan, what would you suggest? i have no idea where to start? Also, how much are the chemical wormers. The Verm-X is about £10 per horse.

what is a good 3 year plan?

That's interesting about the Verm X cause I heard that they have done studies on its effectiveness and it's absolutely rubbish! Chemical wormers range in price, noromectin is about your cheapest at approx £6, up to wormers like equimax tablets that are about £18. Depends what you want to worm for.

I use wormers direct. I used equest and equest pramox for 2 years and then asked them for their advice as to whether to continue with this. They wrote me an individual worming plan for the next 2 years which I have nearly finished now. They send me a reminder when I need to order the next wormer and I just reply and tell them how many to send. They are brilliant and I would highly recommend them.
