Can someone recommend a good worming programme? I've been at yards where the YO has set it up to now but current YO is a diversified farmer and leaves us to our own devices.

Thanks

We use Wormers direct. They set the program for each horse from dung samples and only worm if needed so even though you pay for them to set program up you end up spending less per annum.

Hi,

We use Equimax every 12 wks as it an excellent wormer that covers everything, the tube covers upto 700kg compared with a lot of the wormers that go to 500 -600kg so you can usually share with someone else. I change to Equest once in the year just as a change. We run a small livery yard and my husband is a Vet so I get my wormers from our surgery. They usually retail around £14.50 ish.

equimax doesn't do everything - it does nothing against encysted redworms. using Equest once a year will tackle these, so it's more than just for a change - it's an essential part of your worming program.

Was just going to say that Star.
I always do worm counts and rarely need to worm except for Tape.
