This year we used the Equimax/Eraquell year pack of wormers, in January we are due to worm with either Equest or Panacur Guard, what womers (would prefer a year pack) should we use next year? (usually ask the vet for advice but she's on holiday

)

TBH I don't know if I would rate panacur - a lot of recent research has suggested that worms are highly resistant to it's active ingredient (fenbendazole). I know my horses are so I don't bother using it. I like the Equest ones, they've always worked quite well and the equest pramox treats for tapeworm too. They sell them in yearly packs

I would go for the equest/pramox year pack for £49, so much cheaper than buying separate.

just stick with equest and pramox - they are effective and there is no need to rotate between wormers whatever anyone tries to tell you.

Tend to agree with Star, but I would personally contact ChrisD (on HT) from Abbey Diagnostics for advice.
