hi
I just read a survey on horse worming in Ireland and am researching resistance to wormers by the helminths(ie not tapeworms and ascarids) as im thinking of doing a project for collage on Worming in horses and anthementic resistance. So heres a survey for you guys so i can get a broader view point.

Can ye guys fill it it in if ye have time...

Cheers

Aru

You didn't really give an option for regular worm counts.

Aru wasn't sure about the rotation question, I think it is very dependent on what sort of plan you use, ie I dont rotate as such as I target at specific times of year and only do one dose in the summer grazing period, which just happens to be different to any of the other chemicals I use. So I suppose i tend to rotate wormers for tapeworm but not anything else.

Done my choices - although, if it is any help, some of the answers were a bit limiting.

i no!im just repeating a survey that was sent around ireland last year im afraid.
if im doing a proper project on it i plan to add options for Faecal egg counts(its really not very common over here yet so it only got a short mention),
the type of rotational grazing used ie do other animals graze it in betweenetc,
a more specific question on rotaing the wormers
how often you poo pick according to the season...
and any other helpful suggestions you guys will hopefully pass on
