Afternoon everyone. Is there something wrong with the above, worming your house with tablets or powder rather than paste? Today I went to buy some and the woman was quite rude, and as I walked off made a comment about "it's that time of day again...someone has just asked me for worming tablets!" as if to say I was stupid for even considering them! I wasn't aware there was a divide on this topic...can someone enlighten me or is this just one strange lady?

I've been thinking about trying tablets this time just because my horse is an absolute pain... You can't even put a bit in his mouth so you can imagine the difficulty when it comes to worming!
I think they're a good idea but after reading some reviews apparently horses tend to be fussy about eating them.
That lady just sounds close minded!

she a strange (very rude) lady , i think i'd be avoiding that shop in the future
powdered wormers are a little old fashioned now but equimax tabs are i would have thought quite popular
unless the silly woman hadn't heard of the equimax tabs and is thinking you want worming tablets like the kind you give to cats and dogs but thats her problem not yours

mine is a pain to worm (i just twitch him now) and he wouldn't eat the equimax ones despite eating the tester tablet (without the wormer in it)
but mine will eat these crushed up in his feed without a problem so it might be worth a try
