Worming twice...

first time with pramox - 2nd time with something else??

what are the implications or can this be done "safely"...?

With most wormers you would have to feed 100 times the normal dose to risk any problems

When I get a new horse on the place I always do a bomb drenching of worming weekly for three weeks.

I'm confused why you would worm again after Pramox which covers all worms including tapeworm and stays in their system for 13 weeks?

im not.

im moving yards and my horse has just been wormed - i did inform new yard owners and i dont think they have an issue as im honest and worm regularly etc...

but just in case there was a problem - im asking the question as my knowledge lacks in this department and this forum is normally pretty knowledgable

get a worm count done - ok, won't cover tapeworm but a better option imho

thanks. i dont see a problem with the new yard as they are lovely - but i dont want my horse being ill...
