I am sure I read that worming twice within a short space of time is bad for horses and can lead to laminitis.
Yard asking for worming twice within six weeks, but horses not wormy the first time. ?‍♀️ I’m reluctant to do this. Cannot be good for them.
Any thoughts?

What is the reason for worming twice. Have you just moved onto the yard. Have they had a herd come back with high counts etc. Not enough information. What chemicals are they asking you to use and are you worming for tape after worming for red and round. As for laminitis not heard of any connection except perhaps pramox which has some wierd and wonderful side effects in some horses and particularly ponies

In which case would the ym allow a worm count and tape test this time and worm on that result if needed and join in at the next point
