It's that time of year again and I've got to give my two a five day course of the above. Neither will eat their feeds if I mix it into their usual daily rations so I usually measure it out in the little cup and then pour it into an old plastic worming syringe and give it them that way. However, because it is so runny, it seems to go everywhere.

Does anyone have any tips for making sure I get it all in first go without wasting any?

Thanks

I use equest pramox too, recommended by my vet as my mare wont eat her feed with the 5 day one in and it also makes her a bit colicy!!!

Equimax does the exact same thing and they do not have to suffer 5 days of horrible tasting stuff!!They recommend the panacur guard for horses with a less than adequate worming programme!!

no no no! equimax definitely does not do the same thing. equimax is just ivermectin and praziquantel. the only drugs licensed to kill encysted small redworms are equest and panacur and due to resistance panacur doesn't work very well, so equest is the only real option. there must be a serious encysted worm problem in this country given the number of people i've met who think equimax kills everything and their advertising has a lot to answer for.

My mistake,sorry
