Ok here goes...

I've never really been too clued up on worming, obviously I know why to worm and when to etc but the so many different thoughts on it now. My current yard leaves everyone to sort themselves out, they get wormed and then chucked back out in the field (droppings cleared regularly)

We're not in any routine as such. One owner chooses not to worm and has done for years, horse seems to be fine though and showing no signs of anything being wrong. A couple of people worm just twice a year again their horses seem fine and the rest of us worm every 12 weeks or so. I wormed with equest prmox in November so mine are due to be done again soon, whats everyone using? And what are your views on the do's and don't of worming?

Do worm counts and reduce the number of worming sessions you have during th ecourse of the year. Worms are becoming resistant to the drugs used & I hear that in New Zealand they are totally resistant so that'll be off the menu over here

May I - respectfully - suggest that the yard implements a worming Policy. It is pretty pointless having everyone worm when ever they may remember, and all using different wormers.
Apart from that, I would suggest, if possible, you send off a worm count ensuring it is YOUR horses poo!!!
