my horse was wormed with equimax at beg of march now were moving yards and new YO wants her worming with equitape and obv to stay in for 48 hours is this necessary?

IMO no. As a YO myself, I can't believe the amount of other YOs that make their liveries worm their horses to a ridiculous amount. I have also been informed recently (by a vet) that keeping a horse in after worming isn't necessary at all!

iv always thought that but there waitin for my muck to put with theirs to send of for burning.... i wonder how horses went on in wild? lol i really need to move to this yard as its literally 5 mins from home so im goin to have to do it just seems a little bit daft to me!

I have never kept a horse in after worming, no point, but I can understand YO's wanting all new horses wormed on arrival, how do they KNOW that a horse has been wormed? Like when buying, what the owner says is not necessarily true.

Prob no IMO but for the sake of keeping the peace, go for it. It wont be any harm and the YO is happy. everyone wins
