Does anyone have any good tips for worming a horse who hates syringes? She goes mad at the mere site of them! Would you recommend mixing it with feed?

Yup, stick it in feed. It's what I used to do to my old boy who would rear at the mere sight of a syringe! Just make sure you put in right in the middle, and if poss, in something like chaff that it can stick too, or half of it ends up around the edges of the bowl!

Get it in granule form and mix it with feed.

I used to mix it with feed for my old mare as she used to throw her head up so i couldn't reach or spit it back out.

i have used the equimax tabs i bought them online quite cheaply, i think they were £15

Many horses hate them.
Many horses also refuse to eat feed with wormer in.
Horses can be a pain
You can get wormer bits, you insert it like a bit, then squeeze the wormer through it onto the back of the tongue.
I used to fill an empty worming syringe for a few days before worming with apple sauce. next day, dip the wormer tip in apple sauce, worm, another day back to apple sauce.
Again, neither of these will work for all.
