Worming...?

Hi

quick one, how often do you lot worm, and where do you buy wormers from?

If I'm honest I only do mine once every 3-4 months, generally because i happen to be at or passing the vets (milbemax), but i was wondering what everyone else does, and if there's somewhere cheaper to get wormer from...?

Main reason for asking is that Millie's vaccinations are due so going to the vet tonight so didnt know if there was anywhere else to get some from. (Gypsy cat is in for her vacc too, she is always wormed once a year when at vets!)

I drontal 3 monthly. Only because they eat anything they get their paws on whilst out and about. Its horrible to see a dog you know you worm have tapeworm hanging out of its butt!!!! So religious now.

I pay £1.80 a drontal tablet from a farm shop. I think I end up buying 9 tablets in all.

betty costs me a fortune in wormer... she needs done about once a month... two months if i'm lucky!

she is a disgusting beast who eats all sorts... including dog crap... so if i leave her more than two months it is obvious that she is wormy.

i only buy wormer from the vet- i find that its a wast of money buying from anywhere else, as it doesnt work. i use whatever the vet gives me!

(i dont live anywhere near a pets at home or anything like that, which is why i only buy from the vet rather than the chemist. )

Harley is out and about with me up the yard all the time, so I really keep on top of his worming.

At the moment he is having a spot on treatment of Advantix (specifically does ticks because they are so bad this year and I am paranoid) every month and a 3 monthly Drontal Plus.

In the winter he has Advocate spot on treatment every month and 3 monthly wormer for Tape Worm only (which the Advantage does not cover).

I buy it from the vet.

I use drontal every 3 months and get it online at VetUK with the dog food order, the vets charged me nearly double the cost for it.

I use Drontal plus on mine and he gets wormed every 3 months. I get it from VetsUK also get his Frontline from there too as its cheaper then PAH
