Worming!

The horses are in for winter turnout switch around now, as well as worming. YO just lets us get on with it, horses not allowed back out until she has seen our empty wormer syringe.

I don't have a clue which one to use?! He was last wormed in august with Ivermectin.. should I use this again? Or something like Equest Pramox?

Worming confuses me so much :confused3:

you should be treating for tape worms this month- so either a pramox/equimax or a double dose of pyratape/strongid.

Sorry to butt in here but was gonna post a thread asking everything about worming. Recently bought my first horse so learning as we go!

When do you worm a horse? Where do you get it from? all the simple basic novicey questions?

nothing wrong with it if you have a horse with a known worming history, it's just probably not the best to use if the horse might have a lot of worms/unknown history.
