Advice please...

I'm moving my ponies from a big livery yard to a very small livery yard. My fields will be pooh picked daily and grazing will be alternated. At my current big yard the yard owner does all the worming, at my new yard I will be doing my own worming programme, they are currently wormed with Equest and Equest Pramox every 6 months by my yard owner. Any worming programmes that anyone recommends. I'll be doing regular pooh samples.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on the results of your FECs - if you use Westgate they'll advise which wormer to use if you do need to worm.

I worm count every 12 weeks and - other than a blip when my broodmare came back from stud with a medium redworm count - for years now have only wormed twice a year to cover tapeworm, bots and encysted redworm. I'm planning to use the new saliva tapeworm test so hopefully willl be able to stop routinely worming for tapeworm.
