I am virtually being sick writing this as I can tolerate ANYTHING excluding worms.
My dog is wormed every 3 months with Drontal Plus. Last night's walk ...and she has got worms. I was in such a panic i flew to tesco on a bank holiday and bought the only thing i could find Bob Martin all in one dewormer. Reading through it has to be given in the morning, but now worried that i should just ring vet. Having googled it the active ingredients are very different and i need these little visitors gone...
I have 2 small children, have washed all her bedding and cleaned everywhere, cannot risk any cross-contamination. Any advice gratefully received.

If you are that concerned why are you worming at minimum levels as Drontal state "at least every three months"?

You can worm monthly - wormers don't prevent reinfestation and three months is lots of time for a worm burden to build up.

Thanks everyone. I just took the advice from vet re every 3 months but take on board all the comments. Have been to vet and got drontal plus this time, but will alternate and do monthly. Can't understand it as she has never had this problem before. The only thing i can think is we came across an old fox carcass the other day. She is up to date with flea treatment etc. Just a shock that's all!! Thanks again...any other suggestions gratefully received x
