Worrid about one of my horses..!!

I went to catch one of my horses out the field this morning as he lives out but i just bring him in for excercise etc and noticed he has thick yellow discarge out of his right nostril but yesterday he was fine..!! im going to monitor him for a few days checking his resperation temperature and pulse. do you think that is ok or call the vet.?

As it is thick yellow discharge, I would have the vet out, it sounds as though he may have an infection and may need antibiotics. As I said in my other reply to you, a friend's horse had this and a load of pus came out. It wasn't dealt with as swiftly as it could have been and he ended up needing a couple of weeks worth of antibiotics to knock it on the head.
