Korben and my OH were carrying on in the living room the other day - they like to play chase through the hall and round the room - my OH is a big child really. Anyway, they were carrying on when suddenly Korben dropped his back end, his hind left leg came up and he let out the most blood curdling yelps I have ever heard
He then hobbled through the kitchen into his room and wet himself and kept holwing and yelping. I was so upset, but I managed to get hold of his leg and he let me rub it and within minutes, he had stopped crying and was standing on his leg. I let him out into the garden and a few minutes later he seemed fine - running around the garden barking at OH to play with him again.
So all seemed fine however, we have noticed over the last few days that he will lift his left hind leg and refuse to put it down for a minute or two - usually its when he is out a walk or playing in the garden - I rub his leg and stretch it out a little and he allows me to do this and then he is fine again.
Im keeping an eye on him, and might take him to the vet later in the week.
Anyone had this happen to the pooches - Im hoping he has just pulled something - hes a 1 year old Alaskan Malamute
