I have a 17 year old cbx mare who has very good feet and is 99.8% of time as sound as a pound, she is still in regular work and is pretty fit, I had a lesson on her on Saturday and we started jumping she did nice jump but i think she may have landed funny, i asked her to walk on after id been discussing something with my instructor and i pulled her up and we both said at same time "shes lame" , my instructor is brill and is very experienced she said she thinks shes pulled something and to give her a bute and keep her out to walk it off, I trotted her up yesterday and she looked to be improving, however a friend has text me today and said she looks lame (she wasn't in walk yesterday only trot) to me it looks like its coming from her shoulder, im thinking give her until wednesday and get the vet if no improvement, the farriers been to have a look and he agreed with my instructor to let her walk it off x
