It does sound as if she maybe got a bit cold - I think I would put a stable rug on at night, I know where I am it has got really cold all of a sudden. Maybe she did cavort about too much in the field as well after being in for a while and is feeling the effects today. Hope she is ok.

Well, I think she has probably lost a bit of field fitness from being in, has overdone it with the excitement of going out yesterday.
Then I think she has got cold in overnight (horses need warmer rugs in the stable than outdoors because they can't move to warm up).
So I'd maybe put a warmer rug on her tonight (at least MW) and possibly bandage her legs if her joints looked stiff (only if you are experienced at bandaging though).
Hope this helps

Thank you they were my thoughts (but I do worry) I was thinking about stable bandages if not on overnight just to warm her legs and dry them when she comes in...I shouldnt really call her old she puts the younger ones to shame with her cavorting around but seeing her this morning was a bit of a shock
