Worried about Star.. think she has a problem.

I'm not even sure how to describe this.

It's happened a couple of times recently. Some kind of liquid is coming out of somewhere... it really does not smell nice and doesn't seem like she can control it.

It's just happened now and she is licking herself like mad... doesn't smell wee or poo like so I'm thinking it must be some kind of discharge?

She has been spayed.. any ideas?

Based on humans, if it's pus it will smell like rotten meat (sorry, I know it's gross)

I'd be heading vetwards to be honest.

Does it smell vile? I would recommend a vet visit to clean them out

As Splotchy says, anal glands smell truly foul. If it is them, it will be leaking out her bum

It smells pretty rank!

But not at all a pooy/fart smell.

I'll take her for a check up this week. Poor girly..

Sounds like anal glands, don't worry, it's simple for the vet to empty them. You should reserve your sympathy for the vet rather than the dog!!!

Anal glands call to mine and i will clear them.

My poor little border has an infection in his anal glands, the vets have said if its not cleared up by tomorrow they are gonna pack his anal glands with antibiotic paste. I hope they are better now... he will hate me if they arent!

Def her them looked at asap... just hold your breath when the vet empties the gland!
