Im going to royal London this year and obviously im excited. However, i have a highly strung 3 year old tb x cob and this will be his first stay over show. He'll have been in for 4 nights with no turnout. Im really nervous of how he'll behave, he's hyper after one day of being in. Am i being silly? Someone reassure me!

Try to give gin more exercise than usual when you're there eg a hack or some lungeing in the morning if your class is in the afternoon. Remember to cut down his feed too. Good luck. :)

Structure an exercise/work schedule for him to suit the increased time in. It's a really good idea to work a horse at least twice a day for short sessions, e.g. 2 twenty minute sessions, or a lunge in the morning and a ride in the afternoon, or something similar. You can also take him for a walk around in hand just to see the sights and stretch the legs. It'll make a man of him!

Is there places he can be lunged then? Never been before. The first day will be like a normal show and he'll have a lot of classes so he'll probs be tired the next day too. But once the tiredness wears off he'll be hyper i think. Make a man of him!! He was cut late he needs to lose some ego lol
