was reading another thread just there and it got me thinking, do any of your horses have really stupid/weird/obscure passport names?

Here's mine:
Daisy- Snowbug
Twiggy- Barnpark Zara

Don't mind Snowbug although most other people think it's hilarious :/ it does suit her though as she is a cremello and when she is all clean she is VERY white.

As for Barnpark Zara though I HATE it. Twiggy is such a lovely pretty little pony and that is just a stupid name for her IMO. She isn't even called Zara she's called TWIGGY! So have no idea where that came from :/

So over to you- any other silly names?

Castle of Love  For a gelding :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Lord Americo x Loves a Pleasure (by Castle Keep) - so I can see their logic, but what a STUPID name :D:D:D:D:D:D Poor Bob....

my little nf pony 'toffee' (she was dun) was called 'Burnt Ashes Mist' blurgh sooooo poncey so as a backlash when I bought my Heinz57 tbx and decided to event him he was called Rex but had no official name so he got registered as 'The Flying Flump' hahaahhhha :) I loved it and he deffo suited it funny little odd ball that he was :)

My horse that came nameless from Gorsebridge, I called Riley, and when passport arrived a month later they had passport named him 'Brown Tom'!! Very original and he is def not a Tom. Reminds me of a floating turd for some reason! :o

My grey horse was called Father Bob. His full brother was called My Friend Paul... Breeder must have been stumped for names!

Agh! I forgot I had one come with the name 'My Perfect Peaches', luckily they had only written it in the passport and not registered it with the society, technically she was still unnamed, so I changed it ;)

Ettie is registered...Dlani Dudette - I think as she is 50% QH they wanted it to sound a little bit American.

I always think it's a fantastic start to a sj round when the commentator pronounces my name and Ettie's correctly. Though saying that I am not sure if first bit is pronounced Dee-lay-nee or Dur-lar-nee

and my mum's horse is called Damsella...sounds like the name of some kind of city wrecking monster :D

When I went to see our latest he was called Jake, fine fits in with the rest of the crew stable name now J, didnt think to ask his passport name, was horrified to find it is Goodinuff............ I hate it:(. Poor horse is an under confident soul, so I am either going to add a ? mark after Goodinuff or use a name that suits him better Jittery J:D

New TB is Singasingsing.... not helped by her stable name being Rebecca - that's my name
In the past we've had a Dillicombe Dame - stable name Dilly... used to get very odd looks in the collecting ring :o, Tim's Scooter (blame mum for that one), On a Promise... I'm sure there's more if I could remember them!

We had a Bean Bag eventing...suited him too! My welsh is called Outrington Extreme..stable name Gilbey...both a bit weird, I call him my golden boy!

We have a lot of KWPNs so Varleen and Ricky Boy are probably the best (worst!) especially as Ricky Boy is ridden by my OH. Mind you, he has just tried another one today called ZZ Top........

Fanningstown Lady haha, that passport was soon 'lost' and the horse became Evie haha

No commentators seem to be able to get Nougat de Ligny right either.

I have had, Shannondale Matrix, Shambhala, Gigolo 383, Pauldary's Tigers Sunny Delight, Urbanes, Bradeney Ulrich, Senor Asterix, Bobby Pacino, Diamond Diva, Oscar De La Vallee not are normal haha

I like my horses passport name, but feel sorry for commentators trying to pronounce it! Not one has managed it yet. It is Naomh Mhuire, which means Hail Mary in Galic and is pronounced Naive Weir.

Tristan - that is it, just Tristan, for a big, gorgeous KWPN!

Ah but you say he's gorgeous, does his forelock also get in his eyes and does he get in trouble from the boss and yelled at?
If so then he's obviously Tristan from Jame Herriot fame, just in horsey form.

I see one out eventing called Winalot My Chum (Winalot and Pedigree Chum being brands of dog food) which I think is great!! Maybe it's a threat as to what will happen if he doesn't perform!
