Worst week ever?

So, as you all know, my gorgeous smoke was picked up and taken to his new home on Wednesday, fab home and couldn't have asked for better owners for him, gutting, but takes the edge off of it.

Now, I had both my boys up for sale, Owen needed to be sold as loanee gave notice and couldn't have 2, but worked out realistically couldn't have one, but decided to soften the blow by making myself think ah, smokes going but I'll move Owen onto my yard until he's sold, give me something to do.

Well, queue the perfect person coming out to try Owen today, so now he's sold and being picked up tomorrow

I can't believe both my boys will be gone within 4 days of each other! It's heart wrenching and absolutely killing me inside thinking about it, I just keep crying, selling smoke was bad enough but now both my babies going so close together, it's really horrible

Sorry, just a self pitying thread, needed to get it out as feeling really pants right now

Had a similar thing happen to me - sold one of my two 'riddens' as no time and also rehomed our rescue pony and both ended up going on the same day! Urrgh. Really sad day Feel for you x

So sorry to read of your week, but you have the comfort of knowing they are both going to be in good homes so they will be happy.
Hope you can think of some diversion for yourself or a treat to cheer you up.

I've just got back from Owen being picked up. He's only gone down the road, so nice and local, and his new mummy is happy for us to go visit him anytime.

Time to go out for some retail therapy now I think, and it's my best mates 21st tonight so can go and let me hair down at least
