All I can think is its some kind of novelty factor for them as there was no rain when they were born outside and then I have kept them in until they were neutered so they have actually not really experienced rain very much!

You’re so right! It’s scary and because it was the time that we lost Arlo and the fact Polly is a bit wonky I am more scared.

But seriously they tend to stop growing around one then do some plumping out
