His dog, Spud. Elderly completely mad Labrador.

I did a weigh in. I think fairly accurately. Weighed a cat carrier then put them in it on a luggage scale.
Polly is almost 3.2 kg and Wotsit is a bit over 4.9 kg!
Crazy considering how tiny he was. When Arlo gets home later I’ll pin him down too!

The Fat Kitten is about 5kg. Boy cats are made of lead, I think.

I thought they would hate being wrangled into the carrier, it’s a tiny kitten one but was easier to hang on the scales
He’s now refusing to get out. The other side is very much open, he is not imprisoned

Cec wasn’t quite as on board with it as Wotsy was but they have started a little nose bump greeting when Wotsit walks into a room

My dogs colour co-ordinate nicely too, one red, one yellow and one white and tan. I really miss my black labs though so might have to spoil the aesthetic soon

I hope it was happy endings for the rest of them, I do wonder sometimes what came of the others.
Mum, Florence is still fed and cared for by my neighbour.
I see the first two caught after Polly regularly and they are doing great too.

I mean that would be a stressful situation for someone who can barely make his voice heard and its not for lack of trying, his mouth opens wider and wider but still not a lot comes out!

Yes! It’s like a little squeak! A mouse would be louder.

We rescued her as a pair with an orange boy who was the chattiest strangest cat. He was the mouth and she was the trousers. He was devastated when she died and he lost his body guard.

We’ve got one whose voice has become like this, elderly puss, already on Thyronorm, has developed some lumps in her throat which could be the thyroid gland or cancerous. So long as she’s eating and generally pain-free, we ignore it.
