Talking about not making himself heard, he kept coming to me when I was working and silently asking me to follow, he’d run a little way and then back and ask again….
I got up and followed. His food bowl had run out of square bits.

The ratio of square to other is about 100/1 and the speed he weasels them out instantly is too much!

My cats and dogs share sofas but don't cuddle so much. The cat and the red dog here have the same name and before Reddog was done she had a last season, and thought this cat and this cats sister were her puppies

a friends used to walk to the bus stop before school every morning. Then he’d walk back by himself in the afternoon and meet her off it at 4. That blew my brain a bit but her mum said he would set off at 3.45 every day up the road and sit at the bus stop

My cat used to do that when I was a teen, except I used to walk her back and shut her in - I was far too paranoid about the roads. Apparently she would sit at the window next to the door about the time I was due home.

She’s too cute! She looks permanently confused with everything.
She’s been in my bad books this week for delivering secret pigeons into the house. Not quite sure how she gets them in past me, I guess I’ve been leaving the door open more as it’s warmer.

The tacky flower was a good buy! She has used it a lot, I didn’t really think she would but she seems to love it.

This one has been secreting surprise mice into his bedroom again. He’s not remotely sorry! He says well done to Polly on the pigeons (he personally finds them too large to be arsed with & sticks to smaller, more snacksize feathery things)

Miles celebrated/protested me.going back to work after being sick for a week by deposit a tit on my partially laid floor. Feather everywhere! A pigeon is very impressive, is this the kitty with the cerebral ataxia? I dare not join the Merlin app thread, I think it just gave him ideas.

She has cerebella hyperplasia (apologies if that’s the same thing!)
I assume a pigeon is an easier catch than a small bird as she has never caught a little one luckily! She do s struggle a bit to carry them, I was on a work call the other day when she appeared across the garden with one. She has to hold her head up very high and trot!

I'm fairly sure my first cat brought roadkill/concussed pigeons in (although she also brought in a very undamaged magpie once, so was clearly capable of catching big [frightening, flappy!] things). I suspect if a pigeon has recently had a good feed they don't take off as briskly as they might otherwise - most of the ones the Fat Terror's brought in have had very full crops.

My large adult male has never managed a pigeon and not for want of trying, there's definitely at least one that taunts him. She's a very impressive Polly.

I love watching Wotsit stalk very seriously our hens. They are very unafraid and at the last moment will look up from their pecking and stare in a “f off” way at which point he casually walks on past, because that’s all he was planning anyway….
