Please tell me this is not real! And we wonder why so many horses out there have issues.
Please please please listen to all the advice given and do not ride your new horse until you have a saddle properly fitted by a saddler - if you must ride in the meantime then stick to bareback - its good pratice anyway.
Oh but it is, im going into a new career as a saddle fitter, and the amount of questions like this is unreal, one didnt even know what the 17,17.5 meant but they were still buying a saddle off the internet!. Not meaning to sound nasty there but really the good of the horse comes first.
My warmblood is still recovering from a bad fitting saddle 2 nearly 3 years later his muscles arent fully recovered. Its not a money making scheme saddle fitting its to make your horse comfortable. Like someone said, would you walk round in shoes 2 sizes too small?
