Ok, well as I go away to uni again, there is left little sis with not enough time to exercise the baby (nevermind her own horse!). Plus she has decided to some inexplicable reason she doesn't like him.
I've only come off him once, hunting and he is sane etc. but can throw a buck.
What I would be thinking is a couple, probably how ever many days they wanted, preferably to include mucking out, haying etc. on the days they do
All tack would be provided, and probably free of charge. Plus they could take him out wherever.
Do you think I am likely to find someone?
This is just a back up plan if we don't sell, and is just a possibility. Obviously we would insist on an experienced rider, hence why not asking any money as they would not be riding a ready made anything!
Thoughts? I'm also not sure how often this is done in N. Ireland!
My other thought is to take him with me to liverpool but not sure if this is practical or not as far as getting him here and yards close enough to get to easily.
ETS:He's a 16hh 6yr old with basic flatwork and jumping.

If I wasnt paying livery already for 2 geegees , I would have taken him off your hands for awhile even just to get him out and doing abit of schooling until you got a buyer for him .

All you could do is advertise , stating that he would be staying at current yard and also state what you would ask of suitable person , See who replys ?

Taking him over to liverpool with is an idea but not something I would do , unless you are going to advertise him over there and try and sell him while you are there ? Too much hassle IMO .
Sorry my msn is not letting me on hence why I went off grrrr x

if you want to PM me (can you do that on here? I'm quite new to H&H!) I can let you know about a couple of yards I used to go to while I was at uni in Liverpool if you decide to do that...?

Could you loan him? A decent PC rider might like him- especially if he's talanted with dressage/SJ/eventing. It would also get him out and about.

We tried to do this for Ben a couple of years ago, advertized in FW quite a bit and got basically noone. I think the problem was that we wanted to share rather than loan, so he could stay at home with us.
Try local contacts first ie instructor/vet to see if they know anyone perhaps whose horse is injured and wants another ride.
