I was looking for a share but due to starting college I really don't have the time anymore - most days I'm in 9-5 with an hour commute by public transport each way then when I get home I usually have approx. 2 hours of homework/revision. The only day I have some spare time is a thursday but I've just started volunteering for the RDA in the morning then I'm in college in the afternoon. Anyway , I only really have one of the weekend days to ride now but would a one day a week share be feasible? If I paid around £15? My other problem is finding a share where I can ride on the weekends as this is usually when the owner wants to ride the horse. I really want to get back into horses after a couple of months break but riding lessons are overpriced in my area (surrey/hants) so they would be a last resort and I'm finding it really difficult to find a share :(

Any suggestions welcome (and rewarded by vanilla and chocolate sponge pudding) :D

Yes im sure somebody out there would. Id quite like somebody to ride mine once a week but with him being so quirky its hard to find somebody.
Now pass me the sponge!

Yes there is, I already do this with one of mine as I'm normally off competing the other one anyway. I ask for £10 :)

I know of 2 people it would suit, one because she's in a new relationship and weekends are 'couples time', and the other is a single mum and has her children to amuse at weekends! Sadly, not in your area, but, I'm sure, there will be plenty of other similar horse owners where you are.

yes, my sharer can only squeeze in one eve a week and weekends at the moment as she's still at school, as the nights close in the evening in the week will be impossible and i understand that. It's still helping me though as it means i can spend my time at weekends with daughter and her ponies:)

Cake to everyone :)

and Jenbilla I'm in Farnham , Surrey.

Now I guess the difficulty is finding a horse to share , I've advertised on preloved, equineadverts, freeads etc but no luck :(

your right near me and i was looking for a sharer but unfortunately taz hasnt got a saddle (which is a bit useless for a sharer) so i have stopped advertising and looking :(
