Would anybody want to buy an unbroken rising4 y/o?

Can she live out? or do you need a stable as well? Can I be of any help, i have room in field (with two geldings) if i can talk OH round. But No stables close at the moment. Yard is a couple of miles away, although a we are getting three small paddocks near it in the new year!
......Or i do know of a couple of yards near me!

Is that grazing a couple of miles from me Fii?

I would be wary of buying an unbroken 4yro in case someone has had a go, messed it up and decided to get rid.

I have bought all of mine as weanlings for the last 7 years after buying a 4yro exactly as above!

As she has been backed, I think most people would prefer to see her under saddle to make sure she hasn't had any bad experiences.
If you started her back up again she should be ready to show w/t/c under saddle to purchasers by Feb/March when more people will be looking to buy.

I would, especially at that height. I would be wary of a rising 4 year old that had done more than just been lightly sat on as they are still growing. Makes me cringe when I see adverts for what is effectively a 3 year old jumping or having done lots of school work, I don't understand the rush.

Totally the reason that mine is just 4yrs old and unbroken - she has been bum high for as long as I can remember and it's only this year that the front end has caught up. She is too good to stuff up her joints by being worked too young.

Oce broken she will ber able to go out and compete without having to turn her away.

I cannot stand seeing horses as young as 3 jumping and totally disagree with the 4 & 5 yr old jumping series. To many youngsters wrecked in the quest to have them jumping before their joints have completely fused.

I agree with millitiger, a rising 4yo I'd want to be lightly backed, doesn't have to have done much just enough for me to get a feel. If I wanted to do it all myself I'd go a bit younger just to be sure no one had messed it up already

I would prefer an unbroken blank canvas.

before I have always not minded taking on other peoples problems and sorting them, but now I think I like another one of my own to bring on :D

Aslong as you advertise well you will have just as much chance of selling.

Some people prefer backed others unbacked but the right age to start.

As long as its a nice horse you will stil have interest.
