Am thinking about arranging a one or two night camp in September, which would include dressage/SJ/XC lessons.

Just wanted to get some ideas of how many people like to participate in a fun weekend!

Looking at Somerford/Myerscough/Osbaldeston/Crow Wood

Or any suggestions welcome

I would be fun always wanted to do something like that aswell. Oh but please be a few weeks off lol I got a show on 2nd of september.

Oh ok phew hehe finally something I can do yey. I will finally get to do something proper

Would be interested if there were none jumping options like Trec practise or showing plus dressage please

Would this be a mid-week thing, or a weekend?

I'm a teacher, and I don't think the Head would accept a note from my mum asking for a couple of days off school

Hi
I'd be interested

I've been banned from riding thou by OH (I'm having twins!) but if it was at Myerscough - i could help out on the ground if you wanted an extra pair of hands?
I'd imagine maybe one or two of the liveries would also be interested (who dont come on here).

Right, well will make some enquiries with venues today - am training at work today so won't be able to get on here too much!

Will also put a poll up about disciplines people are most interested in.

The jumpers would be split into groups, those who prefer small, up to any height you like!

I've had previous lessons where I jumped a course up to a height I felt comfortable with, then let go up for people who want to jump bigger.

Try Kelsall aswell, our camp was great there. Afraid I wont be able to afford it or get time off work, also my horse is still not sound!

I can really recommend Laura Fortune, Bill Levett (xc and SJ) and Clive Halsall (dressage). Keep me updated and it will depend entirely on work/cost and trainers. How are you and May?

Will try Kelsall too. I've had a group lesson with Laura before now, she is brill! I know Clive runs dressage clinics at Osbaldeston. We had a jumping clinic at the yard toay/this eve with Janette Powell, she was very good too.

I'm debating about making it just staying over one night to keep costs down? Depends on how much interest I get!

Thinking (after pm's from another member) Two lessons on the saturday, few beers etc Sat eve and Camp out, then the farm/fun ride on the sunday in our own time? Will be easier to arrange too

It sounds lovely... I'd love to come, but haven't got any transport... I might be interested if I can share a hire trailer/box with someone else though.

Morning,

There is a possibility that me and one other may now be able to come
