It is beyond a joke they've been out every morning for the last 5/6 days and then I find some bright spark has barb wired up the gap they've been getting through in so they can't get back although they still try and i've had to cut them back out

Are you chasing them in your car? Bad ISHY!

What if they fell on the road or turned around back toward you or stopped and you didn't stop in time. I know it must be frustrating though.

I am following them in my car indeed

The lanes are so windy (hence me beeping my horn) because if another car (driving at 25/30mph) came round and hit them they'd all be dead including the cars driver/passenger so its completely justified .. I'd also just chased them off a major B road so I don't care if its naughty

I wasn't having a go, sorry if it came across that way. I was just thinking of your safety and your car. If a big tractor came the other way and they stopped it might end up with you (or your car) being damaged. I wasn't meaning to comment on it being naughty as I'm sure you thought it was necassary, I just hate to think what might happen it went wrong.

Hehe don't worry

I agree its probably a risky thing to do but I was driving about 10/15 mph .. you should be more disgusted that I was using my mobile phone whilst driving

I know the lane well and know where the traffic would have been coming from and where the horses had come from .. it was a case of getting them off the main road before someone got hurt really

They are such a nightmare .. the police weren't interested so we had to do something

I think it's great you sorted it out, many wouldn't!
It's a shame because the police won't do anything and I doubt anyone like the RSPCA would bother to come out and explain to the owners how to keep the horses in where ever it is they're meant to be.
Hope they don't cause you to much more hassle!
