I have got a date for my total ab hysterectomy; going in on 3rd April :(

I have a 16.2 WBxTB 6 year old mare and would like to find someone who'd like to keep her exercised whilst I'm laid up. She's kept in Musbury in East Devon. Open to suggestions for keeping her busy over the summer, so PM :)

I'm not far from you but have my hands full with my three..
Friends have found riders through adverts in Moleavon, Countrywide and Henry Bowers and you could try an advert in the tack shop on the A3052 (near the donkey sanctuary, but forget what it's called). Six months free riding over the Summer in such a lovely area sounds like a brilliant opportunity and I would think people would bite your hand off!

Don't worry too much. Even 12 months off won't mean she goes backward!! When you are ready just start off slowly for both of you - re-building confidence and fitness....that imo would be better than a loan that could go wrong, or someone not riding her to the standard you would like....good luck with the op and getting back into riding!!
 
Don't know you're situation Spyda but I've just had shoes taken off my boy due to my pregnancy, and he'll have the next five months off for the very reasons Alyth has mentioned :-/
 
It's a busy livery yard couldn't the yo daughter keep her exercised? Or their sons wife?
If not why not just turn away and let her have a summer hol
