do a hunter trial in september without going XC schooling properly? We have done some around the yard xc, which has about 8 fences or so. She was fine. Has won a HT with previous owner, have no idea of the course. But the one I would like to do is at draycott house (anyone know it?) its 65-75cm, she is fine with water, jumped little ditch type things when out etc.... but would it be mad to do this HT without going proper xc schooling??

OH ETA- the reason i can't go xc schooling is because I have no transport, but the HT is within hacking distance.

Think sometimes it's better competing than schooling to be honest as you're more determind to get round! 65-75 cms your horse could probably walk over/jump from a standstill anyway!!!
