I think I know what your answers going to be, but do you think Tara would do any good in showing classes, and if so, what would i enter her for?

Not considering to go into showing seriously, just thought it would be fun to have a crack at some local shows...but I have a feeling she isnt really "show" material

She needs topline building up as that is what lets her confo down, and she ever so slightly (very slightly!) dishes. Would this totally mark her down? her legs are totally clean, as is the rest of her body, and she goes in a double bridle.

wont be offended if you all say theres no chance in living hell that she would show, so be honest!
heres a pic for you to assess:

Pic a bit out of focus but she looks nice to me. Lightweight hunter maybe large riding horse, how much bone has she got and how big is she difficult to say not knowing.

i would do riding horse/riding club horse and if you like jumping then working hunter, she is a lovely type and you can hide the topline a little if you ride her uptogether, as for the dishing i wouldn't worry one of mine used to dish like it was swimming the channel and still won in hand!!

Locally riding club, hunter, riding horse, working hunter - she could do all of those classes and probably do pretty well if she performs nicely!

The horse in pic 1 and 3 on my siggy I started off doing local stuff in exactly those classes (he seemed to enjoy it so we took it a step further and he was our first "proper" show horse) - so you never know where it may take you!
