I'm after a few opinions!
I've been considering putting an advert up in local tack shops and such, advertising poo-picking services. I don't mind getting drenched and frozen over the winter clearing turnout, and with limited day light I thought it might appeal to those that want to spend the time they have at the weekends actually riding and getting on with other things.
My question is whether you would consider the following prices fair?
£5p/h for jobs of two hours or more.
£1 per barrow (of any size, would ask YO to supply) for jobs taking less than two hours.
Would be willing to do one off and regular clearances as well as pull ragwort and other tiresome chores when needed.
I'm a little uncertain on whether this is a fair price, particularly as having somebody else poo-pick is hardly an essential service
Do you think this strikes a fair balance between being affordable, and at the same time, worth me driving down to the yard in question?
I could offer to do other yard duties if needed, having around 15 or so years experience around horses. I've also had a 5 year break as well though, so don't really think it's on to advertise and charge people for more hands on help
